I have to be non weight bearing for a month after my surgery. I researched so many scooters and if it was better to rent or buy. I personally decided that buying was the way to go for me. Hard part was what scooter to buy, there’s so many options! I settled on the Knee Rover Fusion Hybrid and yes it was a decent amount more. It’s been definitely worth the money, for so many reasons. The all terrain wheels in the front have been a lifesaver when out and about. If I could have I would have got the all terrain fusion model because of all 4 tires are rugged. I find that the walker wheel type tends to get stuck on so many things. But with the rugged front tires which are air filled have handle perfectly. The disc breaks work great no rubbing or high pitch noise that I read about in other reviews. The break works great no trouble applying or releasing it like I read in other reviews.The ability to move all wheels makes getting around easier and backing up, you can really move on this scooter. I found I had to keep slowing down while at the store because once you get going you’re zooming all over the place!The padding in the seat is better than several others I have seen and tested. I would recommend a seat cover though because it can get sweaty. I wish it had come with a basket for the price point but I had to purchase it separately. It was easy to assemble by myself and it’s easy to collapse to put in the car. I would definitely buy again or upgrade to the all terrain one.
